UNEP Year Book 2010

Notes from JG:

1. The image files are organized in the order they should appear in the chapter, with one of the proposed Chapter Opener images on the Chapter Title Page, and the other images placed as indicated in the manuscript.

2. The Year Book's designer will need to edit out the time/date stamp of Silas Siakor's Liberian timber image.

3. We are still missing one image: the multi-hazard GIS map from Pascale Peduzzi's shop at UNEP-GRID.

4. Alfie Goodrich's fee for the picture of the Japanese schoolchildren practicing their earthquake drill is US$ 50. I told him we'd be in touch again once we got the hi-res image and decided whether it will ultimately remain in the chapter.

5. In the Excel file of Events from 2009, the first "sheet" contains water-related events (for use in the printed UYB); the second "sheet" contains other types of events such as earthquakes, conflicts, epidemics, technological accidents, (for use on the Web site). The water-related list is more comprehensive and up to date than the overall list, but I will need to keep updating this for as long as the schedule permits, correct?
